Ak\u015fehir ve k\u00f6ylerine birlikler yerle\u015ftirilir. Kumandan \u0130SMET \u0130N\u00d6N\u00dc PA\u015eA TBMM&#8217; den ve BA\u015eKOMUTAN MUSTAFA KEMAL PA\u015eA dan ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 emirlerle &#8220;B\u00dcY\u00dcK TAARRUZ&#8221; un haz\u0131rl\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 9 ay boyunca Ak\u015fehir&#8217; de yapar. Ak\u015fehir, bir anlamda sinesinde B\u00fcy\u00fck Taarruz&#8217;u do\u011fuma haz\u0131rlar. Garp cephesi komutan\u0131 Mirlay \u0130smet Bey bu s\u00fcrede s\u00fcrekli Ak\u015fehir&#8217;de kal\u0131r. MUSTAFA KEMAL PA\u015eA&#8217;da haz\u0131rl\u0131klar\u0131 kontrol etmek i\u00e7in defalarca Kararg\u00e2ha gelir. 1922 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n 28 Temmuz g\u00fcn\u00fc bir futbol turnuvas\u0131 bahane edilerek b\u00fct\u00fcn ordu komutanlar\u0131 Ak\u015fehir&#8217;de bulu\u015fur ve son haz\u0131rl\u0131klar g\u00f6zden ge\u00e7irilir. Nihayet a\u011fustos sonunda taarruza karar verilir. 24 A\u011fustos 1922 g\u00fcn\u00fc sabah\u0131 ordu harekete haz\u0131rd\u0131r. \u0130plik\u00e7i Camiinde mevl\u00fct okutulup namaz k\u0131l\u0131n\u0131r, Nasreddin Hoca&#8217;n\u0131n T\u00fcrbesi ziyaret edilir. MUSTAFA KEMAL ve ordusu Ak\u015fehirlilerin alk\u0131\u015f ve dualar\u0131yla cepheye u\u011furlan\u0131r. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #808080;\">\u00dcnl\u00fc yazar\u0131m\u0131z, hem\u015ferimiz Merhum TARIK BU\u011eRA, K\u00dc\u00c7\u00dcK A\u011eA roman\u0131nda i\u015fte o g\u00fcnlerin Ak\u015fehir&#8217;ini anlatm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 24 A\u011fustos her y\u0131l AK\u015eEH\u0130R ONUR G\u00dcN\u00dc olarak co\u015fkuyla kutlan\u0131r.
